私たちがもっとも恐れていることは、
自分に力がないことを知ることではない。

私たちがもっとも恐れていことは、
自分の中に計り知れない力が
あることを知ることなのだ。

私たちを怖がらせるのは、
私たちの中の闇ではなく、
私たちの中の光だ。

私たちは、自分に問いかける。

「私が、素晴らしく、魅力に溢れ、
天才的で、光り輝いている。
はたして、そんなことが
ありえるだろうか?」と・・・。

でも、そうでないあなたとは、
いったい誰なのだろうか?

あなたは紛れもない神の子だ。

あなたが小さな自分でいることは、
世界にとってなんの役にも立たない。

周りの人たちを心配させないために
萎縮しているのは、
まったく賢明ではないのだ。

私たちは輝くことを運命づけられている。

子供たちがそうであるように。

私たちは自分の中にある、
神の光を表現するために生まれてきたのだ。

それは、限られた人たちだけに
許されていることでない。

すべての人が
そのために生まれてきたのだ.

そして、
私たちが自分に光り輝くことを許可したとき、

同じように、他の人たちも
自分を光り輝かせることを許可するようになる。

私たちが、
自分の中の恐れから自由になるとき、
私たちの存在そのものが、
自動的に、他の人たちを自由にするのだ。

Our deepest fear is not that we are inadequate.
Our deppest fear is that we are powerful beyond measure.
It is our light, not our darkness,that most frightens us.
We ask ourselves, who am I to be briliant, gorgeous, talented, fabulous?
Actually, who are you not to be?
You are a child of God.
Your playing small doesn’t serve the world.
There’s nothing enlightened about shrinking so that other people won’t feel insecure aroud you.
We were all meant to shine, as children do.
We were born to make manifest the glory of God that is within us.
It’s not just in some of us.
It’s in everyone.
And as we let our own light shine,
we unconsciously give other people permission to do the same.
As we are liberated from our own fear,our presence automatically liberates others.
